This birdie shows up with his mouth open!  He is lucky he didn't make it onto the menu, which included (gasp!) horsie.  Uh-oh.  I had a salad, and rowan has pasta.  No worries.  :)

Tribeca in Firenze

Yesterday, in continuing Father's Day festivities, we happened upon this film festival in Florence, where we saw The First Winter, first shown at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, and Rust and Bone, a competitor at Cannes this year.   And it was at the Cinema Odeon, a beautiful restored theater in Florence.
